  1. I am so happy about the CHPI, It’s fantastic that Ontario Works will no longer be funding the emergency hostel services. Currently there are so many people living on the street because they received a basic needs cheque from Ontario Works. In January Ontario Works recipients will be able to receive a basic needs cheque and employment assistance while residing in an emergency Hostel. It will be great that people on Ontario Works will finally be treated with dignity and their human rights will no longer be violated.
