  2. 2005 Roger Caranci, Bud Polhill, Paul VanMeerbergen, Harold Usher voted against LACH recommendations to designate three heritage buildings, thereby voting for the demolition of 1782 Kilally Rd. to be of historical, contextual and architectural significance, 331-335 Talbot St.to be of historical and cultural significance and 252 Central Ave. to be of architectural, historical and cultural significance (two demolished sites remain parking lots).
  3. 3-27-2006 Roger Caranci, Paul VanMeerbergen, Bud Polhill voted against a motion to adopt a by-law to regulate the cosmetic use of pesticides.

  13. 21-2-2008 Paul VanMeerbergen voted against the public private partnership for the new Stoney Creek YMCA, Library, Community Centre.
